Word of Faith Christian Church in Montreal July Newsletter:

Greetings Beloved Friends and Family: We send our love to all of you out there, from Brossard, Montreal. We have anchored down here in Brossard, rented a church building for Saturday night services and are holding services every Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m.

The Journey Deepens:

Mark 16:15 (LB) “You are to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere.” The Journey Deepens as we explore, discover and connect with becoming long-term missionaries in another culture. Day by day we face the challenges that go with adjusting, but are thankful for the grace of God that enables us to persevere. I have always said that live isn’t easy sometimes, but it always is a good life. As we step out and pioneer a church here, we are thankful to be in God’s will, in the right place and at the right time. One thing for sure here in Quebec Harvest Barns are very much needed! A lady in our Saturday night service said that she’d been praying for someone to come and preach the Word of Faith! Our week of opening Word of Faith Christian Church we had two people attend! We preached as though the house were full! The second week we didn’t have any attend, nevertheless we still had church! We are into our 5th week now and are standing in faith that many will hear the call, from all four corners of the city and come and hear the Word of Faith preached in truth! We continue to have one vision, one goal, one passion and that is to Evangelize wherever we are sent! Please be believing with us!

China Harvest Ministries News:
Isaiah 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of thy children. The kids are all doing well in China. They are all becoming beautiful young men and women of the Word of God. We are so thankful that the Word has sustained them, as they step out into a world of chaos, they have foundations of truth under them, holding them up and causing them to walk in honesty and integrity. Our youngest, Xu Huan Huan has just finished grade school, and will be in going to high school in September. She has worked hard to achieve her goal. This last year her days were long and her nights were short. She went to school 6 days a week. She would leave for school at 6:30 a.m. in the morning and return home at night at 7:30. After a quick supper she had 5 hours of homework every night. On Sundays, her only day of rest, she would attend Church Sunday mornings, and then return home to do another 6-7 hours of homework. She is in the top 10 percent of her class of about 300 students. She told her classmates she goes to church on Sunday morning, (It’s an AFCM Church) Associated Faith Ministers Church. Very on fire for the things of God. She invited her classmate to go with her. We believe the young girl’s heart will be opened and she will receive salvation.

Taking Flight:

On July 11th I will be flying out of Burlington, Vermont to China. I will be gone this time for only two weeks. Those two weeks will be power packed as there are many schedules to meet. Of course, each one of the 12 kids will want their “individual” time as well. The boys are making plans to come home for a day or two while I’m there. Wu Fu Gong who graduated last July, and landed a very good job with a big company in Kai Fa Qu is working on a project in the South of China down in Guan Zhou. He found favor with his boss and he is flying him home for two days to be able to spend some quality time with me. The girls are planning an “Overnighter” in Jin Shi Tan! They are so excited about a girl’s day out since it will be the first one we’ve ever had.

United Prayer: Acts 4:24……..Then all the believers united in prayer……..O Lord, grant to your servants great boldness in their preaching, and send your healing power, and may miracles and wonders be done by the Name of Jesus!

Please unite with us in prayer regarding the planting of the church here in Montreal. As we plough the ground, we are thankful for grace and mercy that accompanies us to do the work we are called to do here. Our hearts are focused on reaching the lost and bringing truth and stability along with freedom to those who are spiritually bankrupt! We continue to have one vision, one goal, one passion and that is to Evangelize wherever we are sent!

Joy and I now live in Brossard, Quebec. About a month ago we moved up there from Texas and started a church. The name of the church is Word of faith christian church. We are alo broadcasting a 15 minute program on WCHP in Champlain, New York.

Shekinah Joy (Han Xiao) is in Vocational Training School. She came to us in Sept 2000 as a 6 year old Chinese orphan. Now she is in Vocational school. She has been selected as the most studious student with integrity and honesty in her class. During the winter holiday in February, of 2010 and the summer holiday in July – August, Shekinah Joy chose to work in a factory, which was sponsored by her school. The school chose the best students and sent them to work during the two holidays. She worked many 12 -14 hour shifts during these months, with each week working days, p.m. and night shifts, and from her meager earnings she blessed many of the other children in the orphanage. She was commended by the factory’s supervisors, and managers for her perfect work attendance, excellent work habits, and high performance on the job.

The job was very difficult, with little pay, but she never failed to have a good attitude and was a light to her co workers as well. With her total earnings she tithed 10 percent to the Kai fa Qu Church which she attends every weekend. She is a cheerful giver, and lives to be a blessing to others. I truly believe it is because she is so thankful to have a second chance in life. She has a class mate who is very poor, comes from the country side and has very little spending money. Shekinah Joy never fails to bless her with food, nourishing drinks, and even shares her school supplies with her. Shekinah Joy has said many times that she values her education, and she knows people have worked hard in their lives to be able to give to her in her life.

Joy Haynes Chinese orphans update

Joy returned home the end of August. She has been caring for the Chinese orphans in Dalian China for the past 10 months. Many of the China orphans are now in high school and some in University. China Harvest Ministries has been taking care of these children for 10 years now. Rick Haynes: SEO
